NafisaSomething has clearly shifted around Bojan Miovski at Rangers.
The striker’s name had already been floating around Ibrox in the final days of the transfer window, with uncertainty over his role under Derek McInnes adding another layer to a situation that had appeared increasingly difficult to read.
Then came another significant development.
Miovski was not even part of the Rangers squad for the 1-0 victory over Motherwell on Saturday, despite having made a brief appearance against Falkirk in the previous Scottish Premiership fixture.
And with Rangers now heading towards a hugely important period of the season, questions are beginning to emerge over exactly where the striker sees his future.
The timing of his latest announcement has only added fuel to those questions.
Miovski has publicly confirmed that he is no longer represented by a football agent or agency, and, rather unusually, has stated that he will personally handle matters concerning his career and future.
He wrote:
“I would like to confirm that I am currently not represented by any football agent or agency.
“For the time being, I will personally manage all matters relating to my professional career and future.
“Any enquiries regarding my professional career or future opportunities should be directed exclusively to me personally.
“Thank you for your understanding.”
That final wording is particularly interesting.
Miovski has specifically invited enquiries regarding “future opportunities” to be directed towards him personally.
There is no confirmation that the Rangers striker has demanded a transfer, nor has he publicly stated that he wants to leave Ibrox.
But when that statement is placed alongside his current lack of involvement, it inevitably raises questions.
Miovski has played just 40 minutes of football this season, making three substitute appearances while remaining an unused substitute on three other occasions.
His latest appearance came against Falkirk, where he was given only 10 minutes.
He was then absent altogether for the Motherwell match.
That is hardly the kind of involvement expected from a forward who still has three years remaining on his Rangers contract.
And this is where the situation becomes particularly intriguing.
Miovski was linked with a possible move away from Ibrox during the latter stages of the transfer window, but no departure materialised.
Instead, he stayed with Rangers.
Now, rather than having an agent act as the intermediary between himself and potential clubs, the striker has made it clear that he will personally deal with matters concerning his professional future.
It does not prove that an exit is being planned.
But it certainly gives supporters something to think about.
The timing is also difficult to ignore.
Rangers are entering a hugely important period, with the Old Firm showdown against Celtic looming and the pressure on McInnes beginning to intensify after the club’s inconsistent start to the campaign.
The last thing the manager needs is uncertainty surrounding one of his attacking options.
At the same time, there is no evidence that Miovski has “walked out” on his Rangers teammates or that a dressing-room bust-up has taken place.
His absence against Motherwell cannot, on the information currently available, be presented as proof of a dispute with McInnes or the Rangers hierarchy.
What is undeniable, however, is that Miovski has taken an unusually direct step regarding his own career.
He is now telling anyone interested in discussing his professional future to come directly to him.
For Rangers supporters, that may be the most significant part of the entire message.
The striker remains under contract for another three years, but his lack of football means his situation is already one worth watching.
If his opportunities remain limited, the question will become whether Miovski is prepared to continue waiting for his chance — or whether he eventually decides that his future lies elsewhere.
For now, there is no confirmed dressing-room revolt and no official indication that Miovski has asked to leave Rangers.
But after his latest statement, the speculation surrounding his future at Ibrox is unlikely to disappear quietly.
