According to Fabrizio Romano, Spence is on the brink of joining Inter Milan.
The defender has reportedly agreed personal terms with the Italian giants, with the transfer expected to be worth around £26.9million.
That would see Spence make a permanent return to Serie A and, remarkably, join the reigning champions of Italy.
For a player whose Leeds spell ended prematurely, the proposed move represents a remarkable career transformation.

The talent was never really the question.
Spence had the athleticism, technical ability and versatility required to operate at a high level. What went wrong during his time in Yorkshire remains a source of frustration for those who remember his performances.
