The Nigerian international recently posted a message expressing his affection for Celtic and referred to the Scottish champions as “his team”, further fuelling speculation that he would prefer to remain in Glasgow.
While the player is believed to be keen on continuing his journey at Celtic Park, movement towards a fresh agreement has yet to take shape.
Contract situation remains unresolved
