Regarded by many as one of England’s brightest teenage prospects, Monga is only 16 years old but has already accumulated 37 senior appearances for Leicester City.
The winger has displayed enormous potential in a Foxes shirt, although successive relegations have fuelled growing uncertainty surrounding his long-term future.
Leeds have previously been credited with an interest in the exciting youngster, while Arsenal also emerged as serious contenders. However, Manchester City now appear to be leading the race for the England youth international.

According to transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano, Manchester City have reached an agreement worth around £10 million after presenting an ambitious long-term development plan under new manager Enzo Maresca.
Posting on X, Romano wrote:
“Jeremy Monga to Manchester City, here we go! Deal in place with Leicester City and player side.
“Fee worth £10m package as MCFC got deal done after long talks with Arsenal but no breakthrough. Maresca, involved in process to sign Monga by presenting long-term project.”
Huge expectations await the teenager
Operating primarily from the left wing, Monga has earned widespread praise for his dribbling ability and creativity in attacking areas, leading many to predict an outstanding future at the highest level.
Should the transfer be completed, Manchester City will likely take a patient approach to his progression.
