Dermot Desmond appears to remain firmly convinced that Robbie Keane could, at some stage in the future, take over as Celtic manager.

In reality, many would argue that a Keane return to Celtic in any capacity should be off the table entirely, but indications suggest the club hierarchy may not share that same long-term perspective.
