NafisaRangers have confirmed a number of refurbishment works at Ibrox ahead of the summer period.
The club’s official update outlines plans for improvements to the stands and internal stadium walkways.
The pitch itself will also be relaid, ensuring it is in excellent condition for the upcoming season.
The Copland Road Rear stand will see its existing railings replaced with a glass installation to enhance sightlines for supporters.
The Walter Smith statue will be fitted with updated lighting systems, subject to approval from Glasgow City Council.
Investment from the Club 1872 heritage fund will support several of the upgrades, including work within the Trophy Room and Blue Room.
Extensive repainting is also scheduled to take place.
The statement read: “Now that the season is over for our teams, several pieces of work are getting underway around Ibrox ahead of the new campaign.
“The Ibrox playing surface is undergoing renovations to ensure it remains in pristine condition for the upcoming season.
“The currently installed balustrades in the Copland Rear stand will be replaced by a glass design, enhancing the view of the pitch for supporters situated in that area.”
The Bill Struth Main Stand is set to undergo “internal high level structure works,” which will include replacing timbers and fixing covers, as well as replacing panels on the building façade.
The club said they are working with an electrical contractor to carry out inspection and testing of the listed Bill Struth Main Stand.
The projects began last September and are due to finish over the summer.
Plans are also in place to modernise the Members Lounge inside the stadium, with new booth seating set to be installed alongside LED lighting, new flooring, and further decorative work.
The statement continued: “Across the corridor, the club’s in-house facilities team are undertaking a revamp of the trophy room, in part funded by Club 1872, including the installation of new lighting and extensive decoration.
“Much of this work has already been completed and visitors to the stadium will notice the fresh look in this iconic area of our home.”
The Club 1872 heritage fund investment will also improve the corridor between the Trophy Room and Members Lounge with new photography.
French polishing will be added to the wooden panelling inside the Main Stand rooms.
The John Greig Ibrox Disaster Memorial statue will be rewaxed and restored.
Other plans include painting restoration works inside the Blue Room, pending discussions with artist Senga Murray.
A team of painters will also be deployed across Ibrox, Edmiston House, the Rangers Training Centre, and the Ibrox Community Complex, refreshing multiple areas in preparation for the new season.
