Wolves SIGNING announcement ‘in coming hours’ after lucrative deal agreed with medical completed – His transfer to Molineux is done

Wolverhampton Wanderers are poised to confirm the acquisition of Fer López ‘in the coming hours’ provided no last-minute issues arise.

That’s according to Atlántico, which reports that the 21-year-old will finalize his transfer to Wolves shortly after successfully completing his medical.

The outlet states that the midfielder sealed his move to Wolves yesterday after passing a medical with the Premier League club.

The €25m transfer is now awaiting official announcement, but he is expected to commit to Molineux for the next five years.

Multiple sources indicate that the deal will be valued at approximately €25m, with €23m in guaranteed payments and an additional two in add-ons. The payment structure Wolves will employ remains undisclosed, however.

They’re offering more than López’s release clause in return for spreading the midfielder’s cost over instalments. The agreement might also resemble the one for striker Jorge Strand Larsen, which involved a loan with an obligatory purchase option.

In any event, López is now regarded as part of Celta’s past. His transfer is complete, despite sparking anger among the club’s supporters. They believed he would remain at the club for at least another season, but instead, he’s been transferred to the Premier League, with the deal anticipated to be confirmed in the coming hours if everything proceeds as planned.
