Leicester City boast some outstanding young talent. Many of the Foxes’ Academy graduates are starting to break through in a fresh wave, much like when England internationals Ben Chilwell and Harvey Barnes first made their mark at King Power Stadium.
Perhaps not every member of this emerging crop will reach the heights of representing their nations or lifting the Champions League or Premier League trophies.
Yet they currently have the opportunity to shine at a fantastic Championship outfit that clearly deserves a swift return to the English top flight!
LCFC have recently been the envy of numerous EPL and second-tier sides thanks to their remarkable conveyor belt of talented young professionals. You can tell that from how many of them are being tracked by other so-called ‘bigger’ clubs.
Jeremy Monga and Louis Page were both reportedly linked separately with interest from huge teams such as Arsenal, Manchester City, Real Madrid, and Man United (I added the last one just for a bit of fun!).
Still, City are also, at times, shrewd and intelligent recruiters in their own right. I won’t go through the affordable gems the East Midlands side has nurtured and sold for profit over the past decade or so.
We’d be here all day! So it’s easy to see why there’s genuine excitement around any youth signings captured by the King Power club. Leicester have just announced the acquisition of Riley Carr from Hertford Town of Southern League Division One Central. Meanwhile, these promising City players have signed professional deals at Seagrave.

Alongside his current LCFC Under-18s teammates, Carr is now on the roster. He’s been highlighted by Rising Ballers and reportedly had 27 clubs (including notable sides) monitoring his progress. The winger is one to watch closely.
