Leicester City head into this weekend’s meeting with Coventry City aiming to continue their strong start under Marti Cifuentes.
LCFC sit 4th in the Championship standings after five matches, losing only one. They may have been slightly frustrated to leave last weekend’s trip to struggling Oxford United with just a point, but it was a respectable outcome on the road.
Ricardo Pereira scored his second goal in as many games to level the scores. The 2-2 draw is not something to be dismissed, especially as summer signing Aaron Ramsey was shown red after just 24 minutes.
For Coventry City, they make the short journey to Leicester still unbeaten in the Championship. They are one of only three sides left without a loss, with two wins and three draws putting them in 6th place.

As mentioned, new midfielder Ramsey was sent off at the Kassam Stadium, meaning he will be unavailable due to suspension for the next three games.
In terms of injuries, it seems only two players are sidelined. Left-back Victor Kristiansen is one, after struggling with injuries over recent months, but he has returned to training and looks close to making a comeback.
Harry Souttar remains out long-term with an Achilles issue sustained while on loan from LCFC last year.
Louis Page was left out of the squad against Oxford United after returning from the England U18s squad with a hamstring problem. He did travel with the squad and should be available for this fixture. Bobby Decordova-Reid made his first matchday squad last weekend and came off the bench, so he is expected to feature against Coventry City.
In-form club captain Pereira also looks ready to start after only appearing as a substitute for Leicester City this season.

Cifuentes has numerous options to select from as he finalizes his Leicester City starting XI to face Coventry City. There may, however, be a minor tweak to the formation.
The defensive line remains unchanged, with Hamza Choudhury expected to retain his right-back spot despite Pereira’s scoring form. Luke Thomas, fresh off signing a new contract, starts on the left.
Cifuentes could adjust the midfield, deploying a three-man setup with Jordan James coming in for the suspended Ramsey. He partners Boubakary Soumare and Harry Winks, with Winks replacing Oliver Skipp to provide greater control in possession.
The attacking trio stays the same, with Abdul Fatawu looking to impress once more.
