Jamie Vardy has etched his name into the history books with Cremonese following his switch to Italy after leaving Leicester City.
Vardy is regarded as a Foxes icon after spending over a decade at the King Power Stadium, having arrived in a £1m deal in 2012 from then non-league outfit Fleetwood Town.
The 38-year-old went on to register 200 goals in 500 appearances across all competitions during 13 seasons with the club.
Vardy’s crowning achievement came in the 2015-16 campaign, when his goals played a crucial role in Leicester’s remarkable Premier League title triumph.
The striker also lifted the FA Cup, Community Shield and two Championship titles during his spell with the East Midlands side.
Vardy additionally netted seven goals in 26 appearances for England between 2015 and 2018.
His Leicester chapter came to a close over the summer after the forward announced he would be moving on in search of a new challenge to extend his playing career.
He said: “To the fans of Leicester, I’m gutted that this day is coming, but I knew it was going to come eventually.
“I’ve spent 13 unbelievable years at this club, with lots of success, and some downs, but the majority have all been highs.
“It’s finally time to call it a day, which I’m devastated about, but I think the timing is right.
“Leicester will always, always have a massive place in my heart.
“This isn’t retirement. I want to keep on playing and doing what I enjoy most – scoring goals.
“I may be 38 but I still have the desire and ambition to achieve so much more.”
Vardy linked up with Serie A side Cremonese at the beginning of September on a free transfer, signing an initial one-year contract with the option of an extension.
To date, Vardy has featured 11 times in Serie A and has scored four goals for Cremonese.
His strong performances for his new club have also seen him make history after becoming the first English player to be named Serie A Player of the Month for November.

At the height of his Leicester career, Vardy was earning a reported weekly salary of £140,000, a figure believed to be significantly lower at Cremonese.
Based on estimates from Capology, Vardy now earns £31,420 per week with the Italian club, with weekly bonuses of up to £7,813 available, meaning the experienced striker could still take home more than £2m per year.
