Forward Julián Carranza have linked up with the Foxes on loan from Feyenoord, along with  two midfielders to boost Marti Cifuentes’ squad.

Patson Daka’s Real Betis transfer breaks down:

The Telegraph’s transfer expert John Percy has disclosed that a move involving Leicester’s Patson Daka to Real Betis fell through.

Percy shared the update that any transfer between the two is off for now after Betis failed to meet the £10m valuation the Foxes are seeking.

Daka joined Leicester in 2021 for £23m and was initially viewed as the long-term successor to Jamie Vardy; however, he has never found his footing and is now set to stay at the King Power Stadium.

A surprise to see Marti Cifuentes willing to sanction Patson Daka deal:

Hearing news of a potential exit for Daka will shock everyone, especially since Cifuentes is a supporter of the Leicester striker.

Before the season began, EFL Analysis reported that Cifuentes wished to retain Daka as an option at the club; however, after discovering that Mihailo Ivanovic is available for a deal totaling £12m, selling Daka could have helped finance the signing of the Millwall striker.

Ivanovic has been connected with Leicester at various points during the transfer window, but it ended up not materialising in the end.
