Conor Coady, the English international footballer, 32, played a significant role on the pitch at Leicester City as a center-back after joining the club in 2023 on a three-year deal for a reported transfer fee of £7.5 million.
Coady was a vital component of the team that secured promotion back to the Premier League in the 2023-24 season. In the prior Premier League campaign, he made 22 appearances with the Foxes, but they performed poorly.
Following Leicester’s relegation back to the Championship, the 32-year-old has already participated in three pre-season matches for Leicester City. However, the English defender has shifted his plans and has chosen to join their new competitors Wrexham AFC.
They have utilized their social media to announce the acquisition of the 32-year-old from Leicester City. Coady joins the club on a two-year contract with the option to extend it for another year for a reported transfer fee of approximately £2 million.
The Red Dragons, owned by Hollywood star Ryan Reynolds, are striving to qualify for the Premier League in the next campaign, and the English defender is expected to play a major role in achieving their goals.

Conor Coady is a seasoned Premier League footballer, who made over 198 appearances for Wolverhampton Wanderers in addition to serving as captain during the early phase of his career.
The defender was also part of the England team in the Euro 2020 and the World Cup 2022. The club manager Phil Parkinson expressed delight over the signing of the English international, noting that he will be a valuable addition to the squad.
