“Our idea is to get to the cup final in the best possible place that we can, in terms of the availability of players and players getting some minutes.
“We’ll probably have the likes of Cameron Carter-Vickers coming out now for a couple of games.
“He’s been playing with a little bit of an issue that he can get some sort of injection which will make it right – it’s his hamstring.
“I would think he’ll maybe miss a couple of games and be back for the St Mirren game, then fit and ready for the cup final, a bit like Ally Johnston.”
Auston Trusty, Dane Murray, and Maik Nawrocki will be competing for involvement in the upcoming matches as they aim to fill the gap left by Carter-Vickers.
Celtic have adeptly managed their injuries, and it is crucial that players are given sufficient opportunities to regain fitness for the pivotal match against Aberdeen.
