Activity shows no indication of easing at Celtic this summer. The club has already participated in a lengthy series of transactions, both arrivals and departures.
They have already secured seven signings in total, bringing in Kieran Tierney, Benjamin Nygren, Shin Yamada, Hayato Inamura, Ross Doohan, Callum Osmand, and Isaac English. On the flip side, numerous players have also exited the squad.
The wing depth has been notably reduced. It began with the injury to Jota, which will sideline him for the remainder of the year. But that is merely the tip of the iceberg regarding how limited the Hoops’ choices might be in that area.
Nicolas Kuhn has joined Como on a permanent basis. Luis Palma is headed to Lech Poznan. And now, another winger is poised to leave.
As reported by Anthony Joseph, Rapid Vienna have finalized a deal to sign Marco Tilio. It’s understood that the clubs have settled on an agreement with an obligation to buy for £1.3 million. The initial loan fee is set to be around £350,000.

Initially, it had been suggested that Melbourne City FC wanted Tilio back. It could have been for a third loan stint with the club or on a permanent basis this time.
Also, it had been assumed that there would be an option to buy included in Tilio’s move to Rapid Vienna. But now, it appears to be an obligation instead, which is positive for Celtic as it seems they do not foresee a future for the Aussie international at Parkhead.
We can only wish Tilio the best of luck. He was one of the initial signings of Brendan Rodgers’ second tenure at Celtic, but it clearly did not pan out.
