With the title race entering a decisive stage and Martin O’Neill’s side knowing every remaining fixture now feels like a final, the Czech striker revealed he has already played his last game for the Hoops.
Cvancara posted an emotional message to supporters on social media confirming he is set to undergo surgery after suffering a torn adductor injury.
The announcement immediately left many Celtic fans disappointed, especially with the squad entering such a crucial period of the campaign where depth and attacking options could become vital.

“I know there weren’t as many individual moments as I wanted, but whenever I stepped on the pitch, I always tried to help the team and give everything for the badge.
“And to all the fans.. THANK YOU.
“For every message, every bit of support, and the energy you gave me. It truly meant a lot.
“Now I’ll support the boys from the outside, and I truly believe this team will finish the season the right way and bring home the DOUBLE!!”
