HERE WE GO? Leeds United Make SHOCK Move for 25-G/A Star as Daniel Farke Closes In on Stunning £21m Deal to Transform Elland Road Attack

Leeds United have stepped up their summer recruitment with reports claiming Daniel Farke is closing in on another major signing as the Whites push to strengthen their attacking options ahead of the new Premier League campaign.

Having already secured the arrivals of Harry Wilson and highly-rated defender Tarik Muharemovic, Leeds are now focusing their attention on adding greater creativity in the final third.

The latest player to emerge on their radar is Lyon attacking midfielder Pavel Sulc, who enjoyed an outstanding campaign in France and is now attracting serious interest from Elland Road.

According to French outlet FootMercato, Leeds have opened discussions with Lyon over a potential move for the Czech Republic international as they look to beat competition from several Premier League rivals.

Journalist Sebastien Denis reports that negotiations between the two clubs are underway, although no agreement has yet been reached.

The main obstacle remains Lyon’s valuation, with the Ligue 1 side demanding around €25 million (£21.2 million) before they are willing to sanction a sale.

Despite that, Leeds are said to have made encouraging progress in recent days as they continue exploring a deal.

Sulc has rapidly established himself as one of Europe’s most productive attacking midfielders.

After joining Lyon last summer, the 25-year-old enjoyed an exceptional debut season, scoring 15 goals and providing 10 assists in 42 appearances across all competitions.

Although naturally an attacking midfielder, Sulc also demonstrated his versatility by operating as a centre-forward when required, offering the kind of tactical flexibility Daniel Farke values.

His performances have not gone unnoticed.

Reports have previously linked Nottingham Forest, Tottenham Hotspur and Aston Villa with the Czech international, but Leeds are now believed to be leading the latest round of talks as they attempt to convince Lyon to lower their asking price.

Adding a player capable of contributing 25 goal involvements in a single season would represent another significant statement from Leeds as they prepare for life back in the Premier League.

Farke has already strengthened his squad with experience and quality this summer, but there is a clear determination to add more creativity behind the striker before the transfer window closes.

While negotiations are still ongoing and an agreement has yet to be finalised, Leeds remain optimistic that further progress can be made if a compromise over the transfer fee is reached.

Should the Whites eventually land Sulc, it would hand Farke another proven attacking weapon capable of making an immediate impact at Elland Road as Leeds aim to establish themselves back among the Premier League’s elite.
