The Ibrox forward has found himself on the fringes of Derek McInnes’ plans during the opening weeks of the season, with his limited involvement inevitably raising questions about where he currently stands.
Miovski was even linked with a potential departure from Rangers during the closing stages of the transfer window. However, despite the speculation surrounding his situation, the striker ultimately remained in Glasgow.
Now, the Rangers forward has personally addressed another aspect of his professional situation, confirming exactly who is handling matters concerning his career.
Miovski has revealed that he is currently not represented by any football agent or agency, and has made it clear that he intends to take responsibility for those matters himself for the time being.
The striker posted a statement on his Instagram story, saying:
“I would like to confirm that I am currently not represented by any football agent or agency.
“For the time being, I will personally manage all matters relating to my professional career and future.
“Any enquiries regarding my professional career or future opportunities should be directed exclusively to me personally.
“Thank you for your understanding.”
The announcement comes at an interesting point in Miovski’s Rangers career.
The striker still has three years remaining on his contract at Ibrox, meaning there is no immediate contractual pressure forcing the club into making a decision over his future.
However, his lack of regular involvement has naturally made his position one to watch.
Miovski was left out of the Rangers squad altogether for Saturday’s 1-0 victory over Motherwell at Ibrox, despite having featured for 10 minutes in the previous Scottish Premiership fixture against Falkirk.
His overall involvement this season has been extremely limited.
The forward has played just 40 minutes of football so far, making three appearances from the bench while also being an unused substitute on three further occasions.
That lack of game time will inevitably make his latest announcement particularly interesting, even though Miovski has not suggested in his statement that his current situation at Rangers is linked to a potential move.
For now, the message from the striker is simply that he is taking control of his own professional affairs.
It also means that any clubs or representatives looking to make enquiries about his future have been directed straight towards Miovski himself rather than an intermediary.
