“In the conversations I have had with him, a lot of things I am saying are things he wants from the club as well, so he’s a determined and competitive boy on the pitch, and he is determined to bring good times back to the club.”
McCrorie’s versatility could prove particularly valuable during the coming season.
While many supporters expect him to challenge for the right-back position following James Tavernier’s departure, he is also capable of operating in central defence and midfield, providing McInnes with several tactical options.
