NafisaCeltic are continuing to keep close tabs on Motherwell midfielder Elijah Just as talk of a potential summer move begins to build momentum.
The New Zealand international has become a player of interest after an impressive debut season at Fir Park, with Celtic understood to have been tracking his development for several months.
Reports via Scottish Sun suggest a scout from the Scottish champions was present at Motherwell’s recent fixture with Falkirk as the club weighs up whether to escalate their interest into a formal bid.

Just’s displays this season have also earned him a nomination for the PFA Scotland Player of the Year award.
The 26-year-old is now heading into the final year of his contract, although Motherwell do hold an option to extend his deal, with more interest expected ahead of the transfer window.
Speaking last week on whether he is aware of transfer speculation surrounding him, he responded: “Personally, I’m just focused on the Motherwell games and the World Cup. I’ve still got lots of football to play before I have to even think about my future.
“I’ve told my agent that I don’t want to hear about anything that goes on, or anything about anyone that’s got in contact with him.”
Motherwell remain in a strong position to secure fourth place, which would hand them Europa Conference League qualification in July.
“We’re still competing for a European spot,” he said. “So that’s also something exciting that’s just around the corner.”
It increasingly feels as though Just could move on from Fir Park after only one season, and with a World Cup on the horizon, any departure from the Steelmen may end up being delayed until later in the window.
