There’s a possibility that a City forward, who has started the last two fixtures and shown noticeable progress, could miss as many as eight games. Patson Daka is expected to link up with the Zambia National Team for December’s Africa Cup of Nations.
Daka is said to be “an almost certain inclusion” in the Chipolopolo squad. The question now is whether Jordan Ayew or Julian Carranza will step in as the first-choice striker during his absence.

Daka set to miss multiple fixtures
Sadly for Leicester, Patson Daka looks certain to miss key clashes against Queens Park Rangers, Watford, and Derby County.
That’s right — Daka could be sidelined for the entire festive stretch and potentially longer. Now that he’s effectively established himself as the main No.9, manager Marti Cifuentes will be hoping Carranza and/or Ayew can step up and deliver both creatively and consistently.
The Sheffield United game also appears uncertain, with several other fixtures at risk.
