Kian Pennant has departed Leicester to join Gateshead on a short-term loan. According to the club’s official statement, the deal will run for one month. Pennant has been a regular figure for the U21 setup, but this marks his first loan spell away from the club.
Pennant found the net for Leicester in their 2-1 defeat to Juventus at Seagrave in the international cup back in September. The versatile forward can operate both out wide in midfield and as a central striker.
