On Tuesday evening, Marca reported Crystal Palace finalized terms with Villarreal to acquire Yeremy Pino for €30m this summer.
Wednesday’s edition of El Periódico Mediterráneo asserts it was ‘practically impossible’ for the winger to decline Crystal Palace’s offer.
The FA Cup winners initially proposed €25m last week, which didn’t satisfy the La Liga side. Their offer also failed to impress the 22-year-old.

Crystal Palace came back with an enhanced bid for both the Yellow Submarine and Pino. On Tuesday, the two clubs settled on an agreement for €30m.
The Spain international’s contract runs until 2027, and he currently earns €1.2m per year at Villarreal. They proposed an extension, but he turned it down in favor of the Eagles.
The newspaper states Crystal Palace will multiply his salary by four, as he’ll earn more than €4m net annually at Selhurst Park. Villarreal didn’t create any hurdles to his departure, recognizing this offer was ‘financially irresistible’ to Pino.
Cadena Ser are also reporting the forward will quadruple his salary with Oliver Glasner’s team.
It’s suggested Pino ‘will travel to London in the next few hours’ to undergo medical examinations and sign his contract with Crystal Palace.
