Leicester City have made a fairly solid beginning to the campaign as they continue to recover from the setback of relegation.
Marti Cifuentes’ team have won three of their first four matches and have now brought in five fresh recruits to the squad ahead of the Championship term.
Some players Leicester would prefer to move on are still at the King Power Stadium and, due to their dip in form, have lost their spots in their national team setups.
One of those is Wout Faes, and a former Belgian Pro League coach has slammed his country for consistently selecting the defender.

Faes wasn’t picked in the Belgian national team squad for their September internationals but has been a regular inclusion in the past.
He was also a starter last season, but has only appeared from the bench in every game for the Foxes so far this campaign.
Foxes supporters even jeered Faes after he cupped his ear and former Anderlecht and Gent manager Hein Vanhaezebrouck says he cannot comprehend why people have been choosing him.
He told Voetbal Krant: “The previous national coach relied heavily on Wout Faes, with Theate or Debast alongside him. The new national coach continued that trend, with Wout Faes. Now we have a problem. Wout Faes hasn’t been called up.
Because he’s working on a transfer, according to the national coach? Openda and Vanhoutte were also working on transfers and were selected. But he’s not playing and is being booed by his own supporters.
“That says something. How are things going at the back for us? He’s been allowed to stay on for almost all those games and the problems remain.”

Although the UK transfer window has shut, Leicester still retain the chance of offloading Faes.
Other markets worldwide remain open, particularly Turkey and Saudi Arabia, which may enable the Foxes to finalise a deal.
Cifuentes backed Faes after the boos, but plainly doesn’t rely on him enough to start, suggesting that if a fair proposal arrives, the 27-year-old might be on his way.
