Leicester City spark concern
Undeniable Wycombe Wanderers icon Joe Jacobson has been speaking highly of LCFC — and he makes a valid point. I’ve quoted Reading’s co-CEO below:
“I think they have still got players who have Premier League experience, like Bobby Decordova-Reid up front. They have got players that can win you matches. But when you can get someone like Jordan James scoring goals, creating them, then it adds another dimension to your squad.
“Leicester have got an aura about them in the Championship; they are a huge, huge club in that division.”
Abdul Fatawu injury update:
Thomas Partey, Mohammed Kudus, Antoine Semenyo, Fatawu — to name just a few. What a squad the ‘Black Stars’ boast! I certainly wouldn’t mind seeing more of them in LE2.
Anyway, it looks like Fatawu came through Ghana’s clash with the Central African Republic without any issues. There had been concern in Leicestershire as it was the winger’s first appearance for his country since suffering a major injury.
Fatawu tore his anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) last season, missing a large portion of Premier League action. Thankfully, the City standout appears to be in good shape.
