“I’m really happy to sign a new deal at this Club” — Done Deal — Top 24-year old star SIGNS Leicester City contract, player has agreed a deal which runs until the summer of 2029 – He will be at the weekend game vs Coventry City at the King Power Stadium

Luke Thomas has committed to a new contract with Leicester City.

The 24-year-old, who progressed through the club’s youth academy, has agreed to an agreement which lasts until the summer of 2029.

He does so with his current terms set to expire at the close of this season — having cemented his role as the first-choice left-back in Marti Cifuentes’ squad.

With James Justin now at Leeds, the Syston-born defender has featured in all five of the Foxes’ Championship fixtures — and also played the full 90 minutes in the Carabao Cup defeat to Huddersfield.

He now boasts 109 appearances for his boyhood club and appears set to play a significant role as City aim to return to the Premier League at the first attempt.

He told the club website: “I’m really happy to sign a new deal at this Club. It’s a club that I’ve been at since I was very young, so I’m happy to have another four years here and hopefully more to come after that.

“It’s the team I’ve supported since I was born, really. My dad has brought me up to support Leicester City.”
