We feel that certain reporters and media outlets enjoy emphasising the belief that Leicester will be penalised. Even when receiving contrasting information, they persist in assuming it will occur; otherwise, they would not keep publishing it.
Please understand, Leicester were not punished previously, and that will also be the result this time. There are countless factors why the club should receive no sanction.
Everton and Nottingham Forest can be reviewed as examples. Their cases never turned into anything major as their deductions never influenced any decisive outcome. They were far from European qualification and were not relegated from the top division.
Leicester have offloaded players and significantly reduced their wage bill over the past three seasons. This demonstrates their effort to resolve an issue with no intention of violating any regulations. Leicester spent funds similarly to other clubs in their circumstances, competing for Champions League places. Sadly, the following season was tough, and it resulted in relegation.
We believe the club is collaborating closely with the EFL and PL to resolve this situation.
We hope and expect this will soon mark the conclusion of a peculiar saga. We hope and trust that we will never see Man City voting to punish Leicester, as it would only harm themselves in this context. Leicester will walk free.
