As the report states, Leicester are willing to accept €10m to move Faes off their payroll. They are eager to part company with the Belgium international, but achieving this might be tricky as Lazio would require him to accept a salary reduction in order to join when the transfer market reopens in January.
It remains uncertain whether Faes will depart Leicester in January, but it’s evident that he is not in Cifuentes’ plans. It would likely be beneficial for all sides if an arrangement were completed sooner rather than later.
