Done Deal Completed — Leicester City have sealed deal agreement with Premier League club Everton for midfielder with deal reported to be a club-record as per Sky Sports

Everton have completed the signing of Leicester City midfielder Ruby Mace for a club-record transfer fee.

WSL Full-Time received the news through an official club statement from The Blue Girls this afternoon.

It has been reported that the 21-year-old has secured a three-year contract on Merseyside.

Mace began her career with Arsenal before transferring to Manchester City in summer 2021. The player spent three years at The Joie Stadium before moving to Leicester City in summer 2024 following a fruitful loan stint with The Foxes. Mace assisted Leicester City in achieving a club-record points total in the Barclays Women’s Super League last season.

On the international front, Mace has represented England at various youth levels. She earned her first senior call-up last November and subsequently made her debut in a friendly against Switzerland.

After joining Everton, Mace said: “It is a great feeling to join Everton. It is unreal that this is going to be the home of Everton Women. I am so excited to get started.

“I feel so at home here, the girls are lovely. Everyone is just backing everyone and I just can’t wait to get started on the pitch.

“I said to my parents when I first heard about Everton, how the owners making Goodison the Women’s new home shows just how much they are backing the team. It means so much to everyone.”

Mace is Everton’s ninth acquisition of the summer transfer window.
