Angry Celtic supporters intensified their protest against the Parkhead board immediately following their derby loss to Rangers.
Thousands of Hoops fans exited the stadium before full-time and assembled outside the main entrances of Celtic Park to call for the removal of the club’s hierarchy.
Chants of “Dermot, Dermot get to f***” were aimed at major shareholder Dermot Desmond.
Supporters were further incensed by a small number of corporate spectators who were seen pointing from the Walfrid Suite window and laughing at those protesting below.
Tempers flared as fans reacted, leading to confrontations with police when some attempted to push past officers.
The scenes are the latest chapter in an ongoing standoff between the support and the club’s leadership this season.
Peter Lawwell stepped down as chairman following abuse directed at him and his family.
Celtic’s ultras group, the Green Brigade, also remain barred from the stadium amid a prolonged dispute.
And the 3-1 defeat to the Ibrox outfit, which has left Celtic boss Wilfried Nancy on the brink, has only fuelled the anger.
Earlier inside the ground, supporters had already turned their frustration towards CEO Michael Nicholson and other board members as they watched the match.
