Celtic have tabled an £8m proposal to land Crystal Palace attacker Jesurun Rak-Sakyi on a loan-to-buy arrangement, according to reports.
The Hoops are said to have revived their pursuit of the 23-year-old wide man, who is expected to depart this month after returning from a loan spell with Turkish outfit Caykur Rizespor.
Celtic are understood to be targeting a loan move with an option to purchase, while Palace are pushing for an obligation that would make the transfer permanent at the end of the campaign.
Rak-Sakyi, who spent last term on loan at Championship club Sheffield United, remains tied to Palace until the summer of 2027.

According to Sports World Ghana, Celtic are encountering strong competition for Rak-Sakyi’s services this month, with Swansea and Stoke City also showing interest in the attacker.
Rak-Sakyi enjoyed an encouraging four-month stint in Turkey, netting four goals and registering one assist across 11 league outings for Caykur Rizespor.
Palace are willing to sanction the 23-year-old’s exit this month, but are keen for any temporary move to include a compulsory purchase clause at the conclusion of the season.
That position is reportedly creating obstacles for interested suitors, with Rak-Sakyi turning down a permanent switch to Swansea despite the Welsh club submitting a bid that matched Palace’s demands.
Since arriving from Chelsea’s academy in 2019, Rak-Sakyi has made just 10 first-team appearances for Palace and recorded no goal involvements in 312 minutes of action.
The ‘scary’ right winger last appeared in the Premier League in October 2023, before picking up a hamstring issue that ruled him out for almost the entire season.
Celtic Eyeing a New Striker:
In addition to their reported interest in Rak-Sakyi, Celtic are also aiming to strengthen Martin O’Neill’s attacking options this month.
According to GIVEMESPORT senior correspondent Fabrizio Romano, the Hoops have lodged a bid for Shamrock Rovers prospect Michael Noonan, who is also attracting interest from German side Hoffenheim.
Elsewhere, Celtic have been linked with Lorient forward Mohamed Bamba, while Chelsea striker David Datro Fofana is said to be another possibility after returning from a loan spell with Turkish club Fatih Karagumruk.
Right-back Julian Araujo remains Celtic’s sole addition this month, while Odin Holm and Stephen Welsh have both rejoined the club following the end of their respective loan moves.
