According to Rob Dorsett of Sky Sports News, Birmingham are in discussions with Djurgardens IF over a deal for striker August Priske.
The Denmark U21 international netted 18 goals in 27 appearances to secure the Allsvenskan golden boot.
His form has drawn interest from across Europe, with LOSC Lille and Besiktas among those monitoring him. He could even emerge as an option for Celtic.
If the move goes through, it would represent yet another obstacle between Kyogo and consistent game time.
Kyogo could return to Celtic if August Priske joins Birmingham:
Kyogo eventually brought his scoring drought to an end against Cambridge United in the FA Cup, but a return to the green and white remains possible.
Should Priske arrive at Birmingham, that would add further competition for the Japanese forward.
At Celtic, regular minutes would be virtually assured, with the number nine role ready and waiting.
A move back to the Bhoys could therefore prove more attractive, even on a short-term basis, while also helping address the club’s attacking problems.
