OLIVER GLASNER is reportedly not intending to renew his Crystal Palace contract when it runs out next summer.
The 51-year-old Austrian is hugely popular with supporters and club chiefs at Selhurst Park after steering the Eagles to their first major honour by winning the FA Cup in May.
He led Palace to a historic 1-0 victory over Manchester City at Wembley, cementing his place in the club’s history.
However, strains have emerged following the summer sale of talisman Eberechi Eze to Arsenal, while Palace also explored a move to sell Marc Guehi to Liverpool before talks collapsed.
Glasner publicly criticised the board last month, insisting the club “should invest and not save” after securing qualification for European football.
With Palace spending just £47million during the most recent transfer window, Glasner has struggled to mask his dissatisfaction.
Now, Fabrizio Romano has reported that Glasner is prepared to depart Selhurst Park after opting against signing a new contract.
The report adds that the former Eintracht Frankfurt head coach is already planning for “the next steps”.
However, it also states that Glasner remains “focused on continuing his excellent work this season”.
His impressive spell at Palace has seen him linked with several clubs, with Manchester United mentioned as a potential destination.

Rob Jones will take charge as referee, supported by Eddie Smart and Nick Greenhalgh as assistant referees. Leigh Doughty has been named fourth official.
Peter Bankes will operate as VAR, assisted by Blake Antrobus from Stockley Park.
Régis Le Bris’ side are aiming to stretch their unbeaten home league run at the Stadium of Light to 11 matches, while Oliver Glasner’s Palace are seeking to bring an end to a nine-game winless streak.
