Elijah Just is keeping his head down and his focus firmly on Motherwell, despite reported interest from Celtic.

The 25-year-old winger has caught the eye of the Parkhead club, who are reportedly considering a summer move. But sources close to Just insist he isn’t letting the speculation distract him from his current priorities.

His agent, Gustaf Grauers, told The Celtic Way:

“I talk to Eli on a regular basis, in fact I spoke to him today.

“He knows that in this world of football, you get recognised if you do well.

“However, he does not want to have that conversation with me; his entire focus is on Motherwell and the World Cup this summer.

“He trusts that I take care of everything outside the pitch so he can focus on it.

“So right now we don’t talk about any other clubs than Motherwell and he is fully committed and focused on ending the season in the best possible way with his team mates.”

Stellar form at Motherwell

Just’s performances this season have been turning heads. He netted his seventh Scottish Premiership goal on Saturday, even in Motherwell’s 3-1 defeat at Celtic Park. That kind of form hasn’t gone unnoticed, with numerous clubs reportedly keeping tabs on him through his agent.

World Cup first, future second

New Zealand will face Iran, Egypt, and Belgium in Group G at this summer’s World Cup, and Just’s focus is on representing his country with distinction. His future club decisions are set to come after the tournament.

For now, his dedication remains split between helping Motherwell achieve their season goals and giving his best for the All Whites on the world stage. Grauers continues to handle any external interest, ensuring Just can concentrate on his football.

Whether Celtic or any other club will land him remains to be seen, but the disciplined Kiwi insists on giving everything to his current team and his country before thinking about next steps.

Elijah Just is Motherwell through and through—for now, at least, the rumoured summer moves will have to wait.
