Crystal Palace are already reported to be tracking potential managerial options as they brace themselves for a possible Oliver Glasner departure in the summer. Glasner has worked miracles at Selhurst Park, leading the Eagles to their first major piece of silverware and securing European qualification.
This campaign has proven more challenging, particularly in recent weeks, with Palace enduring a dip in form, compounded by a stunning FA Cup exit at the hands of National League North outfit Macclesfield at the weekend.
Even so, Glasner continues to command significant respect at Palace, and justifiably so given the structure and progress achieved under his leadership. The Austrian is approaching the end of his contract this summer, however, and there has been little indication that a renewal is imminent.
The coming summer could present Glasner with a prime chance to secure a high-profile move, and from his own perspective, the timing may be ideal. Not only will he be out of contract, but Marc Guéhi is also expected to depart, while retaining the likes of Jean-Philippe Mateta, Adam Wharton and other key figures is likely to become increasingly difficult.
Glasner is currently installed as the frontrunner to take over at Tottenham and is also the third favourite to fill the next Liverpool vacancy.

Change could be on the horizon for Palace, but to their credit, the south London club have consistently shown they can cope with departures through smart recruitment over the years.
Finding the right manager can be more complex, but Palace are said to already be exploring their options. As reported by Fichajes, Getafe head coach José Bordalás has emerged as a candidate, with the 61-year-old expected to leave his post at the end of the season and believed to be high on Palace’s shortlist.
Bordalás has been in charge of Getafe during his current spell since 2023, keeping the club competitive despite operating on a limited budget. He also oversaw a prolonged earlier stint from 2016 to 2021, maintaining their La Liga status before a brief and turbulent period at Valencia. Prior to his first spell at Getafe, the experienced coach guided Alavés to promotion to Spain’s top flight.
Bordalás is renowned for setting up robust, combative sides that thrive on the darker arts of the game. His uncompromising approach has troubled many of La Liga’s heavyweights over the years.
