JUST NOW — Crystal Palace could get their man now as Fabrizio Romano confirms player expected to LEAVE EPL giants in January and on One Condition

MANCHESTER CITY could be on the verge of losing a highly-rated young star if they complete the signing of Bournemouth standout Antoine Semenyo.

Semenyo, 25, who has a £65million release clause active in January, is keen on a move to Man City despite attracting interest from Chelsea, Manchester United, Liverpool and Tottenham ahead of the winter transfer window.

City and the Cherries are currently in discussions over the winger, whose valuation will remain in place only for the first 10 days of January under the terms of the contract he signed last summer, running until 2030.

However, should the Citizens succeed in bringing in the Ghana international next month, Pep Guardiola could see one of his brightest prospects depart the Etihad.

According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Oscar Bobb may be on his way out in January if Semenyo arrives in Manchester.

Romano states that Bobb, 22, would “seriously consider” leaving, as his pathway to regular minutes would become even more congested should the Bournemouth attacker make the switch.

The Norway international is already trailing the likes of Savinho and Jeremy Doku in the selection hierarchy.

Bernardo Silva, Phil Foden and Rayan Cherki are also capable of operating in wide areas within City’s 4-3-3 system.

Bobb has already drawn attention from “several clubs,” with enquiries having been made.

Among them is Borussia Dortmund, who have shown interest in “recent weeks.”

Bobb progressed through Manchester City’s academy, spending four years there before breaking into the senior squad in 2023.

Since then, the winger has recorded three goals and four assists across 47 first-team appearances.

This season, however, the attacker has managed just one assist in 15 outings in all competitions.
