Crystal Palace FA CUP opponent has been REVEALED as The Eagles told the Date when the Match will take place

FA Cup champions Crystal Palace have been handed an away tie against sixth-tier Macclesfield in the third round of this season’s tournament.

Macclesfield, one of just four non-league teams left when the draw was conducted, currently occupy 14th place in the National League North.

Under their former identity as Macclesfield Town, the Silkmen advanced to the fourth round back in 2013, where they were eventually beaten by Wigan.

National League South outfit Weston-super-Mare will head to League Two Grimsby, who enjoyed their own moment of cup success earlier this campaign after eliminating Manchester United from the League Cup.

Boreham Wood, hoping to mirror their remarkable run to the fifth round three years ago, will host either Brackley or Burton.

The draw produced four all-Premier League fixtures, headlined by Aston Villa’s visit to Tottenham, while Everton meet Sunderland, Newcastle clash with Bournemouth, and Brighton make the trip to Manchester United.

League leaders Arsenal face a journey to Fratton Park to take on 2008 winners Portsmouth, while Wrexham have been rewarded with a high-profile home tie against Nottingham Forest.

Liverpool welcome Barnsley to Anfield, Manchester City take on League One Exeter, and there’s an eye-catching London derby between Charlton and Chelsea at The Valley.

All fixtures are scheduled to take place over the weekend of January 10–11, 2026.
