In fact, the individual in question described why the former chief executive officer was outstanding in her role, as well as being skilled at building relationships and fostering unity within the organisation. He even suggested that things on Filbert Way will, essentially, never be the same again.

Attacker heads out on short-term loan
We start with Kian Pennant. The England Under-19 international has completed a loan switch to Gateshead — a move similar to young City goalkeeper Jake Donohue’s temporary spell with Quorn FC.
Pennant is expected to stay with the National League side for around a month. He’s recognised for his blistering pace and sharp left foot.
Ex-Leicester City boss reveals why former LCFC figure stood out
Former Leicester City manager Nigel Pearson has shared his surprise over the exit of CEO Susan Whelan. Pearson, who famously guided the Foxes through the remarkable ‘Great Escape’ in 2014/15 before departing ahead of their Premier League title win the following season, spoke fondly of Whelan.
The 62-year-old had only positive things to say about Whelan, with whom he worked during his tenure in LE2. However, he did acknowledge that they occasionally clashed, showing his honesty. Still, his comments underline that Leicester had the right person in charge:
