There are a few squad numbers up for grabs for Leicester City’s newest acquisition Fran Vieites, with the club’s deadline-day recruits seemingly assigned their shirts for the season.
City have yet to officially confirm the numbers that will be worn by Jordan James, Julian Carranza, and Aaron Ramsey, but when selecting player names for the back of a shirt in the club’s online store, there are numbers allocated for the trio.

It appears James will inherit Ndidi’s no.6 shirt, while Carranza will take the no.18, left vacant by Jordan Ayew when he switched to no.9 this summer. Ramsey seems set to claim the no.30 that Mads Hermansen wore over the last two seasons.
For Vieites, no.12 or no.13 seem most fitting for the new goalkeeper among the vacant squad numbers.
With Bilal El Khannouss (no.11), Woyo Coulibaly (no.26), Sammy Braybrooke (no.36), and Will Alves (no.37) assigned shirt numbers before their loan moves, it’s unlikely that those numbers will be available.
