Leicester City Football Club is pleased to announce that midfielder Brandon Cover has signed his second professional contract with the club.

Cover, who has been with the Foxes since the age of seven, has shown promising development through his time in the youth academy and subsequent loan spells.

Early Career and Debut

Born in Colchester, England, on September 25, 2003, Cover progressed through Leicester City’s youth ranks, making his senior debut in January 2024 during a 3-0 FA Cup victory over Birmingham City. His versatility allows him to play both as a midfielder and a full-back, showcasing his adaptability on the field.

Loan Spells and Development

In the 2024/25 season, Cover joined Port Vale on loan, where he made 19 appearances and scored two goals. He later moved to Fleetwood Town on loan, further gaining valuable first-team experience. These loan spells have been instrumental in his development, providing him with the opportunity to compete in senior football and refine his skills.

International Experience

Cover’s talents have not gone unnoticed internationally. He earned his first senior cap for the Jamaica national team in June 2023, participating in a friendly match against Jordan.
