Crystal Palace are in advanced negotiations to sign Villarreal winger Yeremi Pino for a fee of around £43m, according to Fabrizio Romano.
Palace are seeking new additions after permitting Eberechi Eze to leave the club, joining fellow Premier League side Arsenal, despite Tottenham Hotspur striving to secure his signature.
The Eagles have received a substantial amount of funds to allow his departure, but it’s crucial they bring in a suitable replacement, considering how vital Eze was to the team.
It’s been a sluggish start to the summer transfer window for Palace, and with only a few days left before the market shuts, the Eagles need to act quickly. Replacing Eze will undoubtedly be the most critical move Palace can make before the window closes, as it could turn into a concerning scenario if they fail to finalize a deal.

Described as ‘unique’, Pino could be an ideal choice for Palace as a substitute for Eberechi Eze. Although naturally a winger, the 22-year-old could play in one of Oliver Glasner’s attacking midfield positions, with their number 10s often shifting into wide areas where Pino prefers to operate.
Not only do Palace need reinforcements to support their efforts to finish strongly in the Premier League, Glasner’s team is also competing in the Europa Conference League, so they must expand their roster to handle the demanding fixture schedule.
Palace have failed to secure a victory in the Premier League so far this season, drawing both of their matches since the 2025/2026 campaign began. Alarmingly, the Eagles have scored just once, and they are now having to adapt to life without Eze in the final third under Glasner.
