The report claims: “Despite reports, Sky Sports News understands there’s been no contact between the clubs at this stage – with the Premier League side exploring the conditions of a possible deal through intermediaries.

Who is Wolves target Juanlu Sanchez?
Sanchez is a graduate of Sevilla’s academy and debuted for their B team at just 16 years old in 2019. He made his first senior team appearance two years later.
Aside from a loan stint at CD Mirandes, Sanchez has yet to play for any club other than Sevilla. Whichever team secures his signature this summer will be the first outside Spain to have him on their roster.
Sanchez played a significant role in Sevilla’s 2024/25 season, appearing in 32 La Liga matches and contributing four goals and four assists. Although naturally a right-back, he featured in four games as a right-winger and 13 in midfield last season, demonstrating his remarkable adaptability.
All his goals and assists came from his appearances in more advanced positions, suggesting the potential for him to play a more forward role if signed by Wolves.
Sanchez was also part of the Spanish team that won the men’s gold medal at the Paris Olympics last summer. His goal in the semi-final secured Spain’s place in the final against France, whom they defeated after extra time.
