Rangers have confirmed the departure of Dutch defender Robin Pröpper as Russell Martin continues his ambitious rebuild ahead of the new season.
The 31-year-old has transferred to FC Twente for an undisclosed fee, with the Ibrox side announcing the move on Saturday morning.
Pröpper joined the club from the Eredivisie outfit last August and made a solid 43 appearances for Rangers during the previous campaign, leaving a respectable mark despite the team’s challenges.

The Rangers manager is keen to bolster his attacking options, and the club has approached Crystal Palace with a proposal to sign the 22-year-old winger on loan until the season’s end.
Reports from various sources, including recent updates on the web, indicate that Rangers tabled an initial loan offer with a potential obligation to buy worth up to £10 million. However, Crystal Palace rejected this bid, though the Ibrox club’s pursuit remains active, with interest also coming from Southampton and other English sides.
Rak-Sakyi, an England Under-21 international, impressed during a loan spell at Sheffield United last season, scoring seven goals in 36 appearances, which has sparked widespread attention.
His potential move to Rangers would mark a significant coup for Martin, who previously attempted to sign him while at Southampton.
