NafisaCeltic striker Luis Palma’s time at Parkhead appears to have come to an abrupt end after reports emerged that he is already away from Glasgow in a bid to push through a permanent transfer move.
The winger, who spent the season away on loan at Lech Poznan, is now understood to be accelerating discussions over his next destination, with negotiations for a permanent departure from Celtic reportedly entering a decisive stage.
Palma’s absence has now ruled him out of Celtic’s immediate plans, with sources suggesting he will not be part of the squad for their upcoming Scottish Cup final commitments. Instead, all focus has shifted toward finalising his exit before the window progresses further.
The Honduran international originally joined Celtic in 2023 with high expectations after arriving from Aris Thessaloniki, and he made an immediate impact during his early spell in Glasgow, particularly under Brendan Rodgers.
However, as competition for places increased and consistency became harder to maintain, Palma gradually slipped down the pecking order, eventually leading to a loan move abroad in search of regular football.
That loan spell proved productive, with strong performances helping to rebuild his confidence and attract renewed interest from multiple clubs looking to secure his services permanently.
