NafisaNottingham Forest and England midfielder Morgan Gibbs-White has been disqualified from driving for six months after admitting to multiple speeding violations.
The 25-year-old was clocked speeding six times on the A52 in the Radcliffe-on-Trent area of Nottinghamshire between December 2024 and February this year.
He confessed to five instances of surpassing 70mph on the dual carriageway, along with one count of speeding in a 60mph zone.
Gibbs-White, a resident of East Bridgford in Nottinghamshire, was handed a £3,996 fine and received three penalty points for each infraction during a sentencing session at Nottingham Magistrates’ Court on Monday.
Two of the infractions occurred on 5 December at 01:02 and 19:13 GMT, while another happened on Christmas Day at 09:18.
The remaining offences were registered at 09:27 on 17 December, 09:06 on 17 January 2025, and 08:10 on 2 February.
The highest speed at which Gibbs-White’s vehicle was detected was 96mph between Stragglethorpe Road and Lings Bar Road.
He was initially fined £6,000 for all the violations, but the total was reduced to £666 per offence because of his guilty plea.
Gibbs-White was also hit with 19 penalty points on his licence, required to pay a £1,598 victim surcharge, and £110 in court fees.
The attacking midfielder was selected by Thomas Tuchel in March for England’s 2026 World Cup qualifiers following an injury to Chelsea’s Cole Palmer.
