The final stretch of another triumphant campaign for Celtic is upon us.

Naturally, the reigning champions of Scotland are the favourites, but Aberdeen will pose a sterner challenge than St Johnstone did in the semi-final.

However, before a ball is kicked or anything unfolds, former Rangers player Ferguson told Open Goal that it’s a ‘done deal’ and Celtic have already secured the Treble.

“It has been controversial,” stated Paul Slane on John McGlynn winning Manager of the Year ahead of Rodgers. “There have been debates online. Brendan Rodgers could potentially win the Treble.”

Ferguson then interrupted: “What do you mean, ‘potentially’?” Slane then responded: “If they beat Aberdeen? Do you think it’s in the bag? I don’t know.”

Ferguson then added: “It’s a done deal. That’s a done deal – It’s easy for us to think, because of what Celtic have got at their disposal, in terms of the financial clout on the players, you still have to go and do it, and they have done it. They will win the Treble.”
