Wolverhampton Wanderers are pursuing Stade Rennais’ Christopher Wooh, according to Africa Foot.
The centre-back logged just over 1,500 minutes across 21 matches in the recently completed season, and his role has been limited since the Ligue 1 club acquired Lilian Brassier in January.

Ouest-France reports that Stade Rennais are not relying on Wooh, but make no mention of Wolves or any other team.
Africa Foot also claims the 23-year-old is ‘unwanted’ at the French club, and Wolves could provide him with a way out.
They report Vítor Pereira’s team ‘are in negotiations’ with the Cameroon international regarding a potential transfer to Molineux. With Stade Rennais looking to offload Wooh, he might be open to joining the Premier League side.

They further note that Wolves are expected to submit an initial offer close to €5m for the defender. During their talks with his club, Africa Foot suggests Stade Rennais might demand a higher fee to approve his transfer.
There’s no mention of their request, but it may not be far from what the English club are expected to propose in their initial bid.
Trabzonspor are also in contention to sign Wooh but have not yet made an offer to secure him.
