UNBELIEVABLE —Rangers sign £6.75m attacker who knows how to terrorise Celtic, Premier League icon Joins on a free transfer and Everton Top-class star seals move to Ibrox as AI predicts monster Rangers takeover Done Deals in summer transfer window

Rangers are on the lookout for a new head coach and face a major decision. They appointed Barry Ferguson as interim boss after parting ways with Philippe Clement earlier this month. The Glasgow side are now assessing external options to take over the role.

The Gers ended the season in 2nd place in the Scottish Premiership table behind arch-rivals Celtic once more. They’ll be aiming to launch a stronger bid for the title in the upcoming season.

In the meantime, they have an opportunity to bring in reinforcements to strengthen their squad. We’ve used AI to forecast their potential moves…

Rangers expected to sign £6.75million talent:

Rangers secured Vaclav Cerny on loan from Wolfsburg last season and he made a strong impression. AI forecasts that the winger will complete a permanent move to Scotland. That would represent a significant boost and he has demonstrated his talent over the past year. He was valued at £6.75million back in January, according to The National.

Cerny, 27, was granted permission to join the Gers to enhance their attacking options. He settled well in Glasgow and netted 18 goals across all competitions, 12 of which came in the league. The Czech Republic international has previously played for clubs such as Ajax and FC Utrecht.

Jamie Vardy to arrive on a free deal:

AI has also projected that Rangers could sign Jamie Vardy on a free transfer in the coming months. That would be a high-profile acquisition and he would bring a wealth of experience to their ranks. It remains to be seen how realistic the move is at this moment.

Now 38, Vardy’s peak years are behind him. Even so, he has continued to feature at the highest level for the Foxes in recent seasons. He is currently evaluating his next step as a free agent.

Rangers backed to target defenders:

AI suggests Rangers will look to strengthen their defence. Mason Holgate has been named as a likely arrival. The centre-back, who has three international appearances for Jamaica, is expected to return to Everton for pre-season but his future remains uncertain.

He signed for the Toffees in 2015 from Barnsley and has been on their books for a decade. The Yorkshire-born defender has slipped down the pecking order at the Merseyside club, which led to his loan to West Brom in January. Should the Gers bring him in, he’d provide more depth and competition in their backline.

Kaiserslautern full-back Almamy Toure is another name predicted to join Rangers by AI. He has been mentioned in connection with the club in recent days and is being looked at as a possible recruit. The right-back has been a pivotal player for his current side in Bundesliga.2 since arriving in 2023.

The ex-AS Monaco defender was previously with Eintracht Frankfurt before making his switch. The Gers now have the chance to reshape their starting lineup and could have funds available following their recent takeover by the 49ers. They’re expected to be linked with a range of new signings in the coming weeks.
