NafisaConor Chaplin has shared a playful farewell note to Liam Delap following confirmation of his transfer from Ipswich Town to Chelsea.
The Blues have announced the arrival of the striker, who spent just one campaign at Portman Road before completing the move.
Delap played a vital role in Kieran McKenna’s team last term, recording 12 goals and two assists in the Premier League as they ended up 19th in the standings.
According to the BBC, the Tractor Boys have received a £30 million payment as part of the agreement.

Delap joined Ipswich last summer, making the move from Manchester City after the club earned promotion.
He featured in 37 of the team’s 38 league games, netting more than any other player in the squad.
Despite his efforts, the Suffolk side couldn’t avoid the drop, finishing 19th overall.
