NafisaNorthern Ireland Under-21 international Francis Turley has reaffirmed his commitment to Celtic, dismissing any notion of a switch to Rangers with a firm “No chance.”
The 19-year-old midfielder, who has been making waves in the Hoops’ academy, has already tasted first-team action under Brendan Rodgers.
Turley made his competitive debut for the Scottish Premiership champions in a 3-0 victory over St Mirren, coming on as a late substitute.
The moment marked the realisation of a dream for the Belfast-born youngster, who has been determined to succeed at Celtic since his move from Glentoran in 2022.
Reports of interest from Rangers have surfaced, but Turley has laughed off the idea of a move to Ibrox, making it clear that his focus remains solely on establishing himself at Celtic Park.
“I’m living my boyhood dream here,” Turley stated.
“When I got the chance to join Celtic, there was never any doubt in my mind. The history, the fans, and the way the club develops young players—it’s the perfect place for me.”

His performances in the youth setup and pre-season matches caught the eye of Rodgers, earning him a spot in the senior squad. In July 2024, he further solidified his place in the club’s plans by signing a new four-year contract.
