NafisaSasa Kalajdzic has experienced a rather difficult stint at Wolves.
The Austria international arrived at Molineux in the summer of 2022 during Bruno Lage’s tenure, and was intended to be a replacement for Raul Jimenez.
However, in his debut against Southampton, Kalajdzic suffered an ACL injury – the second of his professional career.
He missed the remainder of that campaign, and then – after completing his recovery – made a few appearances for Wolves in the first half of the 2023/24 season, before going on loan to Eintracht Frankfurt during the January window.
Unfortunately, injury woes struck once more, with Kalajdzic sustaining yet another ACL tear only weeks after joining the German side.
His ongoing misfortune with injuries has now thrown his Wolves future into uncertainty – and the forward seems to have hinted at his plans for next season in a recent interview.

There’s been considerable sympathy for Kalajdzic given his injury troubles since arriving at the club.
The forward is well-regarded behind the scenes at Wolves, and supporters have always appreciated his personality in club media content.
It’s been a major disappointment that he hasn’t featured in more matches for Wolves.
Now back in full training with the squad, Kalajdzic has implied he might not remain at Molineux beyond this summer, as he looks to take the next step in his comeback journey.
He told BILD: “There are still a few conversations to be had before I know where the journey will take us in the summer.
“I don’t want to rule anything out. I can’t speak for Wolves either. The Premier League is one step above the Bundesliga in terms of speed and intensity. It may not be the best league to come back after an injury.”
Kalajdzic loan could be a suitable solution
It will be interesting to monitor what unfolds regarding Kalajdzic this summer.
Journalist Liam Keen proposed that a loan move could be on the table, and the striker’s comments indicate that he’s open to such a possibility.
